Filming Resumes!

I know you've all been waiting. Well, today I shot some pickup shots for the second scene montage featuring some of the posters in Jack's workplace. These will be edited into a nice little musical sequence.

Hooray for progress!

Not Dead, Just Hibernating

Hello there. I bet you're wondering "What the hell ever happened to that all-doll splatter movie, 'Brainless'?"

Well, we're not dead, we've just been hibernating. Due to work issues and the distance of some of the crew, we've taken a few months off.

However, we're ready to get started once more and finish this picture! With about eight minutes in the can, we've only got about 70 more to go - and that should be no sweat!

To tide you over, till filming resumes, I thought I'd post a never-before-seen still from the film. Enjoy!

First Round Done

The first round of filming has been completed with gore. Lots of gore.

See?

We finished off the opening to the film, which I posted some pictures of earlier.

We will resume filming soon, and will have more to show you then - including, I hope, a teaser for the film in the next few weeks!

Till Next Time,
Justin

Brainless: Filming Day 3

Good morning! Well, we took a couple of days off before filming again, and the pictures you see are the result of yesterday's shoot.

We shot the first half of the opening sequence, which features Doctor Kasperle speaking with Mary, a woman who has had half of her brain removed.

All went well, and today we shoot the gore that happens later in the scene.

Oh, and I'm sorry these pictures are a bit offset. I'm not sure why this blog software does that, but it's kinda irritating.

I now leave you with a shot of the set and hope that I haven't broken the fourth wall and ruined the illusion of cinema for you.

Love,
Your Pal Justin
